Great design starts with a solid foundation.
As an architect, I learned how to turn abstract ideas into functional, beautiful spaces.
Now, I bring that same discipline to designing digital experiences—thoughtful, intentional, and built to last.
Every line I draw, every word I write, is crafted to meet both user needs and business goals.
Good design isn’t just about how it looks—it’s about how it works.

Let’s create something extraordinary together.

A swimming pool, a fish tank, and my journey to UX
For me, design is about uncovering the 'why.'
During my architecture career, I learned the power of asking the right questions. Once, a client insisted on a swimming pool. But after digging deeper, I discovered he didn’t want to swim—he just loved water. What he truly wanted was a fish tank.

This approach of uncovering the real need, not just the stated one, is what drew me to UX. Like architecture, UX is about creating spaces—digital or physical—that are functional, intentional, and deeply personal.

By understanding the 'why,' I craft designs that resonate with users and align with business goals.
Let’s design something meaningful together.
Recommendations
"I am thrilled to recommend Naomi as an amazing UX designer and brand specialist. I have worked with her for over a year, during which she has helped develop our website, brand guide, logo, and design for all our presentations.
Not only is Naomi a great designer with an amazing eye for detail and style, but she is also a fabulous human to work with. She is always ready to pitch in and show up. She is thoughtful, articulate, and gets things done, and she comes with deep experience and background in the communication space.
I wish her the very best and thank her for the work she has done for us."

"Naomi worked with us to improve the user experience of our website through a University of Washington communications consultancy. She was great about listening to our goals and challenges and proposing solutions.
Using Figma, Naomi mocked up designs for our team to review, and then she adapted the designs to address the team's feedback. Naomi went above and beyond to learn our complicated Divi theme to help transfer the Figma wireframe designs to our site sandbox."
